It all depends on the condition of your grandmother's kidneys. If your kidney is functioning properly and does not develop urolithiasis, taking the medicine for a short period of time should not pose a risk.
The manufacturer warns: In case of kidney failure, the concentration of calcium in the blood serum and in the urine should be checked regularly. High doses of Osteogenon and/or long-term use should be avoided.
I think it's a good idea to consult your doubts with your doctor. If the medicine is to be taken for a short period of time, only until the femur has healed, there should be no risk of increased serum calcium levels.
