Can Vines cause spotting and increased heart rate?

I've been using vines tablets for a year, I've been experiencing mid-cycle spotting for 3 weeks and extra heart contractions for a few months. Basic blood tests and electrolytes are normal. Can vines have these side effects?

Birth control pills can cause a slight increase in blood pressure. If you observe cardiac ailments such as irregular heart rate or sudden blood pressure spikes, you should see a doctor. Hormonal contraception can cause venous thromboembolism and any cardiovascular abnormalities should be reviewed by a doctor.

Spotting and irregular bleeding are common side effects of any hormonal contraceptive. If the problem persists or intensifies, it is worth visiting a gynaecologist for a check-up.
