Hello , can Cortineff ointment be applied directly to the skin of the eyelids.? My daughter has been diagnosed with conjunctivitis and has only red skin on her eyelid and under her eyes. I had a teleconsultation and I didn't ask how to use the ointment. Please reply. Thank you.

The manufacturer recommends squeezing a small amount of ointment directly from the tube into the conjunctival sac 2 to 3 times a day.
Indications for the use of the ointment are: uveitis, keratitis, allergic conjunctivitis and eyelid margins.
Therefore, you should apply the ointment to the conjunctival sac. It will be effective in the case of inflammation of the eyelid margins, even if it is not applied directly to the skin of the eyelids.
