Hello, I have a question. Have you first used sea water to clean your nose, then nasivin drops and then mupina ointment? What should be the time intervals between seawater and mupin ointment? And how long should a 6-year-old child not snot after applying mupin nasal ointment with a severe runny nose.

First, we use sea water and then clean the nose. Then we apply Nasivin, which narrows blood vessels, thus reducing swelling of the nasal mucosa, inhibiting excessive secretion and facilitating breathing.
If the runny nose is abundant, it is known that the amount of mucus will be large and should be removed from the nose as soon as the child feels the need to do so. If a runny nose makes it difficult to breathe, do not specify the time it takes for your child to blow his nose. That's why I would advise blowing your nose when necessary.
The ointment should also be applied to the cleaned mucous membrane, which will certainly increase its effectiveness. Therefore, I would advise you to repeat the course of action with sea water and nasal cleansing before applying the ointment.
This procedure can be repeated alternately several times a day.
When fighting a runny nose, it is advisable to increase the supply of fluids.
