Yes, a school psychologist is obliged to maintain professional secrecy, in accordance with Article 14 of the Act of 8 June 2001 on the profession of psychologist. Exemption from secrecy shall take place only if:
1) is seriously endangered the health and life of the client or other persons,
2) professional secrecy shall also be waived by the obligation to report particularly serious crimes laid down in Article 240(1) of the Act of 6 June 1997 of the Criminal Code.
Information for parents and teachers on psychological support or therapy should be limited to conclusions and recommendations relating to working with the child in order to stimulate development and provide him with appropriate support.
