He has been taking Atywia Daily 21+7 tablets for a year. I try to take the tablets systematically at 20:00 (usually it comes out to me). I forgot to take 13 tablets, I realized only on the second day when I was supposed to take 14 tablets. I accepted then normally 14 and the forgotten one. On day 12 tablets I had intercourse (with a condom). After the forgotten pill, I was bleeding. Is there a likelihood of pregnancy?

If you miss a tablet or delay more than 12 hours in taking your medicine, your contraceptive effect may be reduced by Atywia Daily. Based on the description of the situation, I do not see the risk of getting pregnant, because intercourse on the eve of the mistake was additionally secured with a condom. For the next 7 days, you should also use additional protection - this is a standard procedure if you miss the contraceptive pill. The spotting you have observed may result from both taking hormonal contraception in general and taking two pills at once. On our website you can check the availability of the drug and make a reservation at the pharmacy: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/92353/atywia-daily-tabletki-powlekane/apteki I encourage you to read: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/antykoncepcja-hormonalna
