During pregnancy, there are situations when the pain affecting the future mother is so strong that she has to reach for an analgesic. Most preparations are contraindicated in pregnant women, but the substance allowed for pain in pregnancy is paracetamol at a dose of not more than 1000 mg once up to 4 times a day, e.g. in the form of swallowable or effervescent tablets. In the case of sore throat in pregnancy, you can use benzidamine in the form of an aerosol, lozenges or a solution for gargling. If these drugs do not bring relief, consult a doctor.
