Your baby's exposure to this hormone can be reduced if a nursing woman takes the tablet immediately after feeding and avoids breastfeeding for at least 8 hours after taking the tablet. These recommendations are based on extreme caution, as the amount of the hormone that passes into the milk is very small and the risk is considered small. Most likely, the baby will not experience any adverse effects after latching on to the breast after 6.5 hours, but it is always worth observing the baby carefully.
