Acetylsalicylic acid (a component of Acard) does not protect against venous thrombosis, it is used for secondary prevention of blood clots in the ARTERIES, because clots in the arteries usually consist of platelet pins. Acard - despite being an over-the-counter drug - should be used by a strictly limited group of patients in whom its use is associated with documented benefits. In the treatment of vein thrombosis, so-called anticoagulants are used, the mechanism of which is different from Acard. All anticoagulants must be prescribed by the attending physician. With ACARD analgesic we can use: Paracetamol - Apap, which does not interact with it. https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/5684/apap-tabletki-powlekane/apteki In Germany, acetylsalicylic acid (a component of Acard) can also be obtained without a prescription. The dose of the drug is 100 mg of acetylsalicylic acid, it is available without a prescription, the drug can be purchased under the trade name e.g. ASS-ratiopharm-100 https://www.inderapotheke.de/produkte/35868/ass-ratiopharm-100-mg-tah-tabletten-tabletten/apotheken other available products containing acetylsalicylic acid available in Germany can be found here: https://www.inderapotheke.de/produkte/35868/ass-ratiopharm-100-mg-tah-tabletten-tabletten/alternativen Please note that the dose usually used the dose of acetylsalicylic acid in Germany is higher (100mg) than the one used in Poland (75mg). The guidelines of German cardiology specialists consider the dose of 100 mg to be safe and recommend its use in such indications as Acard m.in prevention of infarction. If, after increasing the dose of the drug, you notice any side effects, e.g. pain in the stomach area, spontaneous bleeding, you should contact your doctor.
