When can I start treatment with Oropram if I have used St. John's wort?
How long can I start treatment with oropram if I have used intractum hyperici extract of St. John's wort? How does the interval have to be between these drugs?

Treatment with Oropram can be started about a week after the end of St. John's wort. Scientific studies have shown that liver enzyme activity, specifically CYP3A, induced by the administration of St. John's wort gradually returns to the basal level after about 1 week. Therefore, connecting St. John's wort with Oropram after about 7 days from the end of st. John's wort will be safe. According to the manufacturer - the combined use of St. John's wort and Oropram carries an increased risk of side effects of the drug Oropram - therefore such a combination is not recommended.
