Can I take Trimesan twice a day if my doctor has recommended 1 tablet per night?

Hello, for more than a month I have been struggling with an intimate infection of the vagina to this cystitis has occurred. I use intravaginally macmiror and I finished taking nolicin (2 tabl per day) the doctor prescribed trimesan after finishing nolicin 1 tabl for the night but due to the fact that during the day I feel a burning sensation can I take trimesan 2 times a day as nolicin? Best regards

For @Paula: An oral probiotic should be used both during the treatment and for about 2-3 weeks after its completion. I also include a link to our article, which may be helpful: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/probiotyki-czy-warto-stosowac-leki-oslonowe

Thank you for your reply! And can I use oral probiotics at this time? (E.g. Lacibios Femina) or rather after treatment?

Changing the dosage on your own is not appropriate, so I suggest you follow your doctor's instructions. Nolicin and Trimesan are two different drugs, so a simple analogy in dosage cannot be used. If you believe that the treatment is not successful and there is no improvement, you should contact the doctor who took care of your case. Trimesan is best used between meals, as food inhibits the absorption of the active substance.
