10 hours after unprotected intercourse I took Ella one. What is the risk of being pregnant?

good morning, I had unprotected intercourse about 10 days before ovulation, I take birth control pills but that day I did not take the last one because I crushed. I took a 10h tablet of Ellaone. Is there a risk that I will be pregnant? I will add that tomorrow I should get a period

Any unprotected intercourse or in the case of ineffectiveness of the contraceptive method used is associated with the risk of pregnancy. Emergency contraception consists primarily of blocking or delaying ovulation (inhibiting the release of an egg from the ovaries). Due to the fact that it is difficult to predict when exactly ovulation will occur, it is necessary to take the "tablet after" as soon as possible. The percentage of pregnancies despite the use of emergency contraception is approximately 2% (2 out of 100 women will become pregnant). However, it should be taken into account that the possibility of pregnancy is influenced by: the time that has passed since the ratio to taking the tablet, the phase of the woman's cycle in which an emergency situation occurred, subsequent unprotected sexual intercourse in a given cycle. A big role is played by the age of partners and their overall fertility - it is worth remembering that not every intercourse, even that was performed on the day of a woman's ovulation, ends in pregnancy. I leave a link to the article that will explain the issues related to this topic: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/tabletka-po-czyli-antykoncepcja-awaryjna
