How to combine antibiotics Augmentin and Amotax?

Good morning, I have difficulty contacting a doctor. I am prescribed augumentin 2x1 and amotaxi dis 2x 1/2 , can I take both drugs at once , or do I have to keep a gap between one and the other antibiotic ? Thanks

Wszystko zależy od tego, jakie dawki obu antybiotyków zostały zlecone. Być może lekarz zalecił dołączanie 1/2 Amotaksu do Augmentinu - wówczas oba leki można zażyć jednocześnie. Sposób dawkowania należy uzgodnić z lekarzem, który zalecił tego typu terapię.

Ponieważ oba leki zawierają tą samą substancję czynną - amoksycylinę (Augmentin dodatkowo ma w składzie jeszcze kwas klawulanowy), łączenie tych antybiotyków nie jest wskazane - chyba, że istnieją ku temu wyraźne wskazania. Takie połączenie zwiększa ryzyko wystąpienia działań niepożądanych oraz przedawkowania - nie należy przekraczać 3 g amoksycyliny na dobę.
