Is it possible to feel that the contraceptive ring has fallen out?

Hello, I have a contraceptive ring and can I feel when this disc comes out, because when I want to check it if it is, I can't feel it and I'm afraid that it has fallen out

It is difficult to give an unequivocal answer, because the cases associated with disc prolapse can be very different and individual. I suppose that if the disc fell out during a visit to the toilet, for example, there would be a possibility that the patient might not feel it. On the other hand, many patients report to us that they feel when the disc is slipping out of the vagina, which is associated with discomfort.

The disc may accidentally fall out of the vagina, e.g. after incorrect insertion, during intercourse, in case of constipation. A situation in which you are unable to locate the disc in your vagina is incorrect. The manufacturer recommends regular checks for the presence of the disc in the vagina (for example, before and after sexual intercourse).

If you are not able to feel the disc in your vagina, there is a risk that it has fallen out - ultimately, your gynaecologist can help you determine the facts. Until you check if the ring is in your vagina, I would suggest using an additional form of contraception (e.g. a condom):
