Vigamox eye drops contain moxifloxacin - an antibacterial drug from the group of fluoroquinolones. Due to the fact that it has an antibacterial effect, it is commonly called an antibiotic, although in fact it belongs to the group of so-called chemotherapeutic agents. We wrote about the difference between chemotherapeutic agents and antibiotics in the attached thread: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/opinie-i-pytania/44522/nolicin-czym-roznia-sie-chemioterapeutyki-od-antybiotykow I attach additional materials: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/fakty-i-mity-o-antybiotykach https://www.gdziepolek.pl/blog/antybiotyki-czy-przestana-dzialac
