Hello, these are my first contraceptive pills. I got spotting on Wednesday I thought it was the beginning of the period but it did not appear for another day. On Wednesday I started taking Vixpo tablets. And my question is whether I should continue to take the pills or will I be protected against pregnancy when I take a string of pills?

If the use of Vixpo contraceptive pills occurred before the onset of bleeding, pregnancies should be excluded and an additional method of contraception, e.g. a condom, should be used for the first 7 days of use. Adequate inhibition of the hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian axis is achieved after 7 days of continuous intake of tablets. By doing so, you will be protected.
