Is Ashwagandha weakening the effectiveness of Kyleen's system?

Hello, I have had a Kyleena insert for two months. Since then, I have been constantly staining/menstruating. A week ago, for two days, I took Ashwagandha tablets. I understand that these herbs weaken the effect of the insert. Could taking these tablets permanently disturb the operation of the IUD or will the insert work properly with their withdrawal?

The use of preparations with Ashwagandha does not affect the effectiveness of the Kyleena contraceptive device. We wrote about preparations that may affect the effectiveness of contraception in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jakie-leki-oslabiaja-skutecznosc-antykoncepcji During the first few months of using the Kyleena IUD (usually 3-6 months), irregular spotting and bleeding may occur. This is related to the adaptation of the body to the system used. With time, bleeding should gradually shorten and its intensity should decrease. In some patients, there is a complete disappearance of bleeding: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/95362/kyleena-przyrzad/apteki If the bleeding is intense or does not go away, I encourage you to consult your doctor.
