Can a headache be a side effect of taking Asertin and should I see a doctor?

Hi I take Asertin tablets from 5 days dose 25 and after a week I have to switch to 50. For 3 days my head hurts and it makes it a little difficult for me to function normally. Can it be a side effect and wait it out or rather apply for a change of drug?

Yes, headaches may be a side effect associated with taking Asertin. This is a very common side effect - about 21% of patients report such a problem during treatment. Side effects can be especially felt at the beginning of treatment - the body "gets used to" the drug. However, if this condition persists or intensifies, it will be advisable to consult a doctor and change the drug to another one.
