How long after using Telmizek can I expect a pressure drop?
Good morning. Since yesterday I take 1 tablet of Telmizek 40, only in the morning, that is, I am after two doses. Should the pressure be significantly lowered, or should I be patient? How long should I notice the change? Could it be that this drug does not work on my pressure? After taking two doses, I only noticed that the heart does not fight so fast and I do not feel the so-called palpitations. And my pressure further in the range from 140 to 160 and above. Temizek contains telmisartan, a substance that requires a longer time to develop its full effect. Most often it occurs after 2-4 weeks after taking the first dose, however, the time may vary individually for each patient. It is worth remembering not to stop the drug if the pressure stabilizes at the correct values. A prerequisite for maintaining the correct pressure is the constant use of the drug.
