If I take an antibiotic while taking Vibin and have intercourse, should I continue to take contraception or stop taking it?
Hello, I have been taking the antibiotic Duomox 1g for 7 days and on a par with the antibiotic I started a new Vibin blister. I have just had intercourse with my husband and as it happens sometimes... He didn't make it.... what's next for birth control pills, take or discontinue?

Contraceptive protection may have been reduced and there is a risk of pregnancy. If you suspect that you may be pregnant - the tablets should be discontinued and in about 10-14 days from the said intercourse perform a pregnancy test. If the test gives a negative result, then you can return to the tablets, e.g. finish the current packaging - then protection will not be provided. Full protection will be maintained only when taking tablets from the next blister. If you have any doubts, you can consult your gynecologist.
