Can a cough be caused by taking a rabies vaccine?

My wife is after a rabies vaccine. The symptom that bothers her strongly is a dry alternating with a wet cough. A few days I cough almost every now and then. Please good valuable advice.

Cough is not one of the side effects observed after taking the rabies vaccine. Perhaps it is worth looking for another potential cause of coughing. Of course, its connection with the administration of the vaccine cannot be completely excluded, since not all side effects, especially those occurring very rarely, are described in the leaflet. Adverse reactions with rabies vaccine mostly resolve spontaneously within 1 to 3 days. Reporting side effects to your doctor as well as individually is very important and helps you gather more information about the safety of your medications and update data about them, which can help other patients in the future.
