Can I change my medication if my ankles swell?

I have a question after 10 mg Amlopidine swells my ankles and calves. Is it possible to change to another, I took 5 mg but the doctor increased to 10 mg

I suppose you are talking about amlodipine, not 'amlopidine'. If a very common side effect of drugs with amlodipine is swelling (fluid retention). This side effect may affect more than 1 in 10 people. Changing the drug can only be done by a doctor - you should talk to him about the fact that swelling of the ankles and calves has appeared.
