Is there a possibility that the doctor made a mistake in signing me Alpragen for numbness in my hands?

I went to the doctor with numbness of my hands and he prescribed me Alpregen and Majamil .after reading the leaflet alprezan I was terrified because I do not see a connection with my ailment. Is there a possibility of confusion. I do not know if I should take this drug?

The probability that your doctor prescribed you an incorrect drug is very small. It should be remembered that any drug can be prescribed by a doctor off-label from the leaflet, based on his best knowledge and experience, if he considers that such a practice will be helpful and safe for the patient. This is the so-called off-label use of the drug, which we wrote about here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/leczenie-off-label-poza-wskazaniami If you have doubts about the legitimacy of prescribing your Alpragen drug, I encourage you to dispel them in a telephone conversation with the doctor who recommended it: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/blog/jak-telefoniczne-otrzymac-recepte-i-zwolnienie-lekarskie
