What could be the cause of the variable abundance of intracyclic bleeding?

I use Qlaira already 4 years, always had bleeding, and in fact spotting very, very scant lasting 2-3 days. They are regular but for several months they are very diverse from complete absence to those that last 5 days and are abundant than before that is bleeding and not spitting. What could be the reason? I have a small 6.5mm subsuer fibroid. Can he be affected?
