Is it safe to stop taking Bibloc?

2 months ago I received from a doctor bibloc 3 mg for elevated terno. After 2 weeks of use, I was reduced to 1.25mg. Now, after the packaging is finished, it is recommended to stop taking the tablets for a week. The goal is to see if the tinnitus that started with bibloc will disappear. Is such weaning safe?

Lekarz, podejmując decyzję o czasowym odstawieniu leku, kieruje się m.in. aktualnym stanem zdrowia i wynikami badań. Skoro zdecydował on o odstawieniu leku, w jego ocenie przerwanie jego stosowania nie stanowi zagrożenia dla zdrowia. Należy także zauważyć, że odstawienie leku zostało poprzedzone redukcją dawki, co wydaje się zwiększać bezpieczeństwo takiego postępowania.

Niemniej jednak, w okresie przerwy w stosowaniu leku, należy zachować ostrożność i regularnie dokonywać pomiaru ciśnienia krwi i tętna. W razie odnotowania wyników znacznie odbiegających od normy, należy powiadomić o tym lekarza.
