Can I use a lower dose of medicine? Polvertic than recommended?
9.99 zł

Hello! The doctor recommended me to take polvertic 24mg 2x a day. Unfortunately, I'm afraid of anaphylaxis, can I divide this medication into 4 parts and take only 1/4 or about 8 mg?

Take Polvertic at the dose prescribed by your doctor. A lower dose may also cause a severe allergic reaction (anaphylactic reaction). In addition, do not divide the Polvertic 24 mg tablet into more than 2 parts. The use of too low a dose of the preparation may result in the ineffectiveness of the prescribed treatment.

If you have any doubts about the validity of prescribing Polvertic at this dose, you should consult your doctor again. You can also take advantage of teleconsultation, e.g. via the Gdziepolek.pl portal:
