Good morning, I have been taking the contraceptive pill YAZ for more than 4 years. He takes the pills every day around 9 p.m. On Friday evening I forgot to take the pills and took it on Saturday at 1 p.m. On the packaging it says that if I took the pill within 24 hours, the contraception is preserved. But is it possible that it stops working earlier?

Protection is maintained and there is no need to worry.
As less than 24 hours have elapsed since you were scheduled to take the tablet, the effectiveness of contraceptive protection is not reduced. The next tablets should be taken as before, i.e. every day around 9 p.m.
