Hello! I was given nimesil in sachets for acute menstrual pain. I took it a second time today (the first was a month ago) and after both doses I get a moderate/stronger headache, after about 5/6 hours. Why is this happening, is it strictly from nimesulide, or maybe a coincidence?

Nimesil, despite the fact that it belongs to analgesics, can cause a headache. This was a very rare side effect, i.e. in less than 1 in 10000 people taking the medicine. It is possible that Nimesil causes headaches when given it. If this symptom is troublesome and hinders normal functioning, it is worth reporting it to the doctor and choosing a preparation that is better tolerated by you.
