Can I do liver tests after these two weeks after the end of H. pylori eradication?

Hello. I have a helicobacterter and introduced treatment from a gastroenterologist. I'm worried about my liver. I'm not in favor of taking antibiotics, but I got as many as 3 times two tablets of tetracycline. After it I have side effects, but the doctor told me to endure it, because the treatment is effective with this drug. Now the question. Can I do blood liver tests after these two weeks? I'm worried that my liver will be damaged.

Usually, this type of examination is performed 7-10 days after the end of treatment. It is best to ask in the laboratory conducting the research. The bacterium Helicobacter pylori, which contributes to the development of stomach ulcers and cancer, can also worsen liver health, especially in patients with hepatitis C (research from Egypt). Tetracycline antibiotics can also cause liver damage and acute pancreatitis. The frequency of confirmed, toxic liver disease is not high. According to reported data, it affects 1 in 10 thousand or 1 in 100 thousand patients.
