Could Liberelle have raised cholesterol?
Hi I have been taking liberelle tablets for 2 years, last week I was doing blood tests. Ideal morphology but LDL cholesterol 166. Could the pills have an effect on cholesterol levels? I've never had a problem with that before.

Yes, it could have had an impact. Progestogens contained in oral contraception reduce HDL cholesterol and increase LDL cholesterol and total cholesterol, so it is true that oral contraception affects the lipid profile.
