Can loose, bright stool with an admixture of mucus, overflow in the abdomen, pain in the intestines and epigastrium be the result of treatment with Pylera?

Good morning, 12 days ago I finished treatment with Pylera. During the entire treatment and 10 days after the end of the antibiotic, I used Helicogastrin. For two days I have been tired of loose, more bright stool and a large presence of yellow, foamy mucus, constant overflowing in the abdomen and pain in the epigastrium and intestinal pain. Please advise

When you are taking Pylera, resistant gut bacteria may grow and cause diarrhoea. Diarrhea and unusual stools are the most commonly reported side effects when using this preparation. In some cases, enteritis may occur, which requires medical consultation and the implementation of additional treatment. I suggest first changing the probiotic (e.g. to Dicoflor 6, Sanprobi) and maintaining an easily digestible diet. You can read more about probiotics here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/probiotyki-czy-warto-stosowac-leki-oslonowe https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/probiotyki-sanprobi In the absence of improvement, you should see a doctor (preferably a gastrologist). Probably, it will then be necessary to perform fecal tests.
