Exacyl does not contain hormones and there is no need to perform hormone tests before using it. The doctor, of course, can order them if he suspects that the abundance of menstruation is due to some hormonal disorder - the decision is up to him after collecting anamnesis and examining the patient. According to the documentation, Exacyl is used in genital bleeding caused by hormonal disorders and occurring secondary to injuries, infections or degenerative changes of the uterus. The gynecologist may also recommend this drug in other cases of abundant menstruation, if his knowledge and experience show that it can be helpful in a given case. Any medication may or may not cause side effects. Exacyl is most likely to experience gastric problems (but no more than 1 in 10 people). Uncommonly, allergic skin reactions may occur.
