Is Polpril right for me?

I have features of stagnation in one kidney (suspected cyst) and pressure jumps with strong weakness and accelerated pulse. I also do not have a thyroid gland and I take euthyrox N. Is the drug polpril in a dose of 2.5 as monotherapy suitable or maybe a drug for hypertension from another group would be indicated, which would also strain the heart and better control the pressure during the day. With Polpril I have dizziness and do not feel stable. My pressure problems intensify when atmospheric pressure drops.

I encourage you to consult your doctor. Based on your medical history, as well as the reported symptoms, the doctor will suggest appropriate pharmacotherapy. Side effects reported with Polpril include, m.in, dizziness. Reported dizziness most often occurs in patients just starting treatment with Polpril and in most of them disappears over time: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/63088/polpril-tabletki/ulotka/115191 I encourage you to report the occurrence of side effects of the drug. Reporting side effects allows you to increase control over medicines available on the market. We wrote more about how and why to report side effects in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-i-dlaczego-zglaszac-dzialania-niepozadane
