Good morning. I have a question a little awkward namely I once had such a situation while washing I looked my penis acutely practically with boiling water and quite a lot it hurt this burn and there was a red trace the size of a nail and you can see it to this day and it was 1.5 years ago and now I have small problems with erection and maintaining it during intercourse. It is difficult to answer unequivocally - injuries in the perineum may or may not affect sexual function. It depends on the extent and size of the injury. The interaction of the nervous system and blood vessels is responsible for erection. These are structures located internally. According to your description, the visible defect is rather cosmetic and there were no adhesions or clear deformations, and the injury was not penetrating. Regardless of the possible cause, if you have erection problems, it is worth visiting a urologist or sexologist. A face-to-face examination will also help determine whether a past burn may have caused problems and will help identify possible ways to deal with the ailment.
