Hello. The ophthalmologist prescribed Corneregel to a 6-year-old for the night one dot in each eye for dry eyes. In the leaflet there is nothing about use in children. We have been using it for a month and we have to continue to use. Won't that hurt? During the day we use Hyabak and at night this gel.

Looking for the best moisturizing eye drops? Check out our eye drops analysis: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jakie-nawilzajace-krople-do-oczu-wybrac-analiza Moisturizing eye drops can be purchased at a pharmacy without a prescription - stationary or online.
Thank you very much for your reply. In the leaflet I found information that Corneregel contains preservatives, which is why it made me wonder if longer use is safe for a child.

The package leaflet for Corneregel does not contain information about age restrictions for its use. There are also no time limits in applying the product. However, it is worth noting that after 6 weeks from the first opening of the tube, it should be discarded, even if a certain amount of the preparation remains in it. If the drug is to be used longer, then after this time you need to purchase a new tube. The product can be used until the symptoms subjectively disappear. 1 drop before bedtime is the standard dosage. The component of the Corneregel preparation is safe - it is dexpanthenol, which is an analogue of the vitamin - pantothenic acid. I suggest you follow the recommendations of the ophthalmologist.
