In reported cases of escitalopram overdose, central nervous system symptoms (from dizziness, tremor and agitation to rare cases of serotonin syndrome, seizures and coma), gastrointestinal tract (nausea and/or vomiting), cardiovascular (hypotension, tachycardia, QT prolongation and arrhythmia) and electrolyte and/or water disorders (hypokalaemia, hyponatremia) have been reported.
