Can an antibiotic impair the contraceptive effectiveness of Liberelle pills and lead to pregnancy from intercourse that occurred before the antibiotic was used?

Good morning. I've been taking liberelle since September. Now I'm in the first week of packaging. Intercourse was today, without finishing in the middle, when is it best to start taking the antibiotic sumamed? In the leaflet I did not find anything about its effect on contraception. And can retroactive protection be weakened? So sperm in the vagina can flow to the egg when I start taking an antibiotic?

If you use the tablets correctly, it is enough to use an additional form of contraception while taking the antibiotic Sumamed and for 7 days after the end of antibiotic treatment. During this period, contraceptive protection may be reduced. I would like to point out that birth control pills do not "kill" sperm. The action of the tablets is based on inhibiting the release of the egg from the ovaries, which makes it impossible to get pregnant. In addition, Liberelle makes the fluid (mucus) in the cervix more dense, making it difficult for sperm to enter the uterus. Thus, if before the antibiotic tablets are used correctly, these phenomena have already occurred and prevented pregnancy from before the use of the antibiotic. These effects may be weakened by the antibiotic, so during its use +7 days after the end of the antibiotic, additional protection should be provided.
