Nie ma wytycznych dotyczących maksymalnego okresu stosowania paracetamolu u dziecka.
Trzeba mieć jednak świadomość, że jeśli gorączka, która jest najczęstszym powodem podawania paracetamolu u niemowlaków, utrzymuje się dłużej niż przez kilka dni, konieczna jest konsultacja z lekarzem w celu ustalenia przyczyny dolegliwości i dalszego postępowania.
