Is the use of metronidazole intra-7 days not too short?

Hello. I live abroad. The doctor prescribed me a 7-day treatment with metronidazole 500mg vaginally because he found vaginal infections. I was surprised that this is 7 tablets because in Poland the treatment with metronidazole intraasperm lasts 10 days. Isn't it too short 7 days. Thank you in advance.

Faktycznie, leczenie rzęsistkowicy trwa z reguły od 10 do 14 dni, dlatego 7-dniowa kuracja może nie być wystarczająco skuteczna.
Jeśli ma Pani jakiekolwiek wątpliwości, należy skonsultować się ze swoim ginekologiem.
