Does sticking 4. Evra patch instead of a break affect the contraceptive effectiveness of the preparation?

Hello. She has been using Evra contraceptive patches for several months now. In the last cycle I made a wrong and instead of starting the week without a patch, I glued a new- 4 patch. I did not get it until Friday (the day the patch was changed). I peeled off the patch and started the week without the patch. Have I done well and contraception works or is there a risk of becoming pregnant? Best regards
