Yes, you can, especially if the medication is used as directed by your doctor. Caution should be exercised when Milurit (containing allopurinol) and Prestans (containing perindopril) are used in older people.
Patients taking both medicines should be carefully monitored for signs of hypersensitivity (e.g. skin reactions) or low leukocyte levels (sore throat, fever, etc.), especially in concomitant renal insufficiency. It is recommended that the blood count be checked periodically and that the patient be instructed to report any signs of infection to the doctor.
