When can I stop taking Milurit 100 mg?

Good evening

I have a question for how many months to take milurit as a maintenance dose, I will add that uric acid is normal, and from the prescription issued by the doctor 2 tablets after eating and in case of improvement 1 tablet and I am almost already taking 2 op and I have had enough.

Milurit has been prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop using the product without first consulting a specialist.

According to the Summary of Product Characteristics, a dosage of 100 to 200 mg per day is recommended in mild conditions. Serum and urine urate and urine uric acid should be measured at appropriate intervals in order to adjust the dose of the medicinal product.

Please keep in mind that for gout, which is a chronic disease, patients may need to take Milurit for a longer period of time or even for the rest of their lives to maintain optimal uric acid levels and prevent gout recurrence and complications associated with hyperuricemia.
