Good morning, I have been using evra patches for three years, the day of sticking the patch is Saturday evening, usually 20 -23, unfortunately I noticed that the stock is over, in the pharmacy shortages, 1 patch in this cycle will be glued no later than Monday at noon. Should I change the day of applying the patch from Saturday to Monday? Should it remain as before?

If you apply a new Evra patch late, there is a high risk of pregnancy. It is recommended to stick a new patch as soon as possible. At this point, a new "Patch Change Day" and a new "Day 1" are established. Additionally, it is recommended to use an additional contraceptive method for 7 consecutive days. I encourage you to check the availability of the Evra patch and to make a reservation at the pharmacy of your choice: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/28646/evra-system-transdermalny/apteki We wrote more about how to properly use contraception in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje
