Is there any danger to a woman who has taken Clostilbegyt but may have had ovulation?

Good morning, please answer, is there any danger for a woman who has taken Clostilbegyt in a cycle in which ovulation may have physiologically occurred? In this case, will the drug further accelerate ovulation and can this situation affect the occurrence of ovulation in subsequent cycles? Best regards

Clostilbegyt is used to treat infertility caused by anovulation. Whether the patient is eligible for treatment - also in terms of the possibility of obtaining physiological ovulation - is decided by the gynecologist. The drug works in such a way that it contributes to increasing the release by the pituitary gland of hormones that stimulate the growth and maturation of ovarian follicles and the production of estrogen by the ovaries. During the period of treatment with this drug, it is often difficult to determine the time of ovulation. Clostilbegyt, like any medicine, may or may not cause side effects (m.in abnormal enlargement of the ovaries). Therefore, it should be used only by patients with appropriate indications. Treatment with Clostilbegyt will not replace effective therapy of the causes of infertility such as too low body weight, premature menopause or problems with the thyroid or adrenal glands. I enclose additional information about the drug. The preparation can be booked using GdziePoLek, and then picked up stationary at the pharmacy upon presentation of the prescription: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/18700/clostilbegyt-tabletki/apteki/w-warszawie
