Is it worth starting studies in pharmacy at the age of 33-35?

Good morning, I have a little unusual question, but I don't have anyone I know among pharmacists to talk. Namely, is it worth starting studies in pharmacy at the age of 33-35?

If you are determined to pursue this profession and you are convinced that this is what you want to do in life, it is never too late to implement your plans. The age of 33-35 is also not particularly "advanced" at all. Realistically, however, it should be taken into account that the studies last five years plus a six-month internship (unpaid). Although some manage to combine study with casual work, in my subjective opinion it is a breakneck task, because studies have a tight program, are rather difficult and require a lot of self-study. If finances are not a problem for you, it remains to be considered whether pharmaceutical studies are the best way to achieve your goal in your individual situation, which is - exactly? What exactly would you like to achieve? Is it about working in a pharmacy, contact with the patient, getting a higher education? Perhaps it will be easier for you to realize your dreams differently, for example through postgraduate studies, extramural studies or specialized courses. I would suggest reviewing the program of pharmaceutical studies, reviewing several textbooks, perhaps taking advantage of open days at the university. This can help you get used to what studying pharmacy looks like in practice. It can also be helpful to review reports on earnings in the industry and job offers - this allows you to look at studying a little "from above" and see what you can expect in practice after graduating from pharmacy.
