How to stop taking Sympramol correctly?

Good morning. I will ask for an answer to the question: "I take sympramol 2 tablets almost 2 months and now I will start to stop whether it is better to stop in this way: take every other day 1 tablet for 7 days and then every third day 1 tablet for 7 days and discontinue completely. Is there another weaning option. Please help.

It is best to contact your doctor if you stop taking Sympramol. He would give you the best withdrawal regimen. Such a procedure depends on many factors, such as: previous treatment, other your diseases, other medications taken, etc. The withdrawal scheme proposed by you should be correct. If after two weeks there are no withdrawal symptoms, the drug can be discontinued. Discontinuation of the drug should be done gradually due to possible withdrawal symptoms such as anxiety, sweating, nausea, vomiting and sleep disturbances. Such symptoms can usually last from a week to a month after discontinuation, on average about 14-21 days.
