Can a small amount of Aflofarm stomach drops transferred to dinner on the hands weaken the effectiveness of the contraceptive implant?
Good morning, I touched Aflofarm stomach drops yesterday, then washed my hands and ate dinner. If a minimum amount of drops got into lunch, could it reduce the effectiveness of the Implanon NXT contraceptive implant? Drops contain St. John's wort.

A small amount of Aflofarm stomach drops, which could theoretically be transferred on the hands, will not affect the effectiveness of hormonal contraception. Such a negligible amount of St. John's wort will not affect the metabolism of hormones.
