Can a stroke survivor take Mel 7.5 mg twice a day?

In people who have recently had a stroke, the use of Mel should be consulted with the attending physician. According to the manufacturer: "The use of certain non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) may be associated with a slight increase in the risk of arterial obstruction (arterial thrombosis), e.g. heart attack or stroke, especially after the use of the drug in high doses and long-term treatment." If absolutely necessary, mel 7.5 mg can be taken twice a day. Such treatment should last as short as possible. If the pain does not subside, do not increase the dose of the drug and consult your neurologist.
