The test should be performed at least 10-14 days after intercourse. The relationship in your case did not happen - in my opinion there is no reason to worry, getting pregnant after petting (by transferring sperm to the vagina on the fingers) is extremely rare, but possible in a situation where the amount of semen is very large and its quality is very good. However, in practice, pregnancies after petting practically do not happen. However, for the future - please be careful.
