Can ethanol extract from St. John's wort affect the way Bisocard works?

Will taking an alcohol extract from St. John's wort not affect the effect of bisocard 2.5?

Wyciąg z dziurawca nie powinien mieć wpływu na metabolizm bisoprololu - substancji czynnej leku Bisocard.

Jednak warto pamiętać, że substancje zawarte w wyciągu z dziurawca (hiperycyna i hiperforyna) mogą powodować indukcję enzymów metabolizujących niektóre leki (podjednostki cytochromu P450: 1A2, 3A4 i 2C9), co może prowadzić do obniżenia ich stężenia w osoczu i osłabienia działania.
